Virginia Stephenson was one of the five original teachers brought to the platform by Joel S. Goldsmith in 1962. She taught the Bible in Joel's Princess Kaiulani Infinite Way class of that year, and was asked to do Bible Lessons in Joel's Monthly Letter.

After Joel's passing in 1964, Virginia traveled with his widow, Emma Goldsmith, from 1965 to 1972 giving classes in North America, Europe, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii. In 1972, European students asked Emma if they could have tapes of Virginia's classes. Emma gave permission for Virginia to publish her tapes as Infinite Way Classes, and they have been available in Europe since 1972. In 1979 Virginia began publishing all of her classes, and in 1982 she removed the Infinite Way label from her tapes to respect the Infinite Way trade mark. Through her forty years of teaching the mystical message of the Infinite Way, Virginia was faithful to the principles Joel presented to the world, and she followed his instructions to be a transparency for the message.

Joel stated in Beyond Words And Thoughts, "It has been my particular saving grace that I have known from the beginning that this Message is something that keeps coming through me from an invisible Source. It must be from the true Source because of its fruitage. Nobody has been harmed or impoverished by The Infinite Way, and those who have been open and receptive and responsive to it have been spiritually healed... Therefore, it cannot be of man: it must be of God.

"If it is of God, Joel is not responsible for what happens to it: he is responsible only for maintaining himself as a transparency; nor is he responsible for what happens to The Infinite Way when he is no longer physically present because That which sent it into expression will continue to function it. No one is ever going to tamper with The Infinite Way because it has no personal savior or personal revelator. It is the spirit of Truth Itself voicing Itself, and be assured that the voice of Truth will always have a transparency, or a million transparencies, through which and as which to reach human consciousness."

Virginia retired from teaching in 2004. Her last class in Scottsdale, Arizona was attended by students from Australia, New Zealand, England, Europe, Canada, and from all over the United States. Her entire catalog of English language classes are available on this site in cassette tapes and/or cds. Virginia is an author in her own right, and a world renowned practitioner. She makes her home in Hawaii.
